Pollsters get paid to drive democrats to the polls and discourage the GOP.

If all the stuff happens + polling is skewed, then Paxton by a decent bit, like 52-48
I think this is what happens in Texas and Michigan. 4-5 point R wins. But, just absolutely terrible candidates in both elections, for different reasons.

One more Democrat and a body of 100 with institutional controls on how that body can be effective means losing one seat is a nothing burger.
If that one seat gives control to the Democrats instead of the Republicans, that is not a nothing burger. That would be gigantic!

I voted yesterday here in Smith County. I waited an hour. Most "looked" conservative.. but one guy that was in line about 5 people behind me had a Harris / Walz T shirt on... I just had to laugh.

GOP is rolling out incredible numbers
You can say that again-- incredibly poor numbers, in the Houston and Dallas suburbs.
In Collin and Denton counties, overall numbers are up 40% over 2024 for the first day. The increase in participation is being fueled entirely by those who voted in the Democratic primary -- up from 22% to 39% in Collin and up from 24% to 42% in Denton. A similar pattern was observed in Montgomery and Brazoria counties in metro Houston.

I've already told y'all Abbott's campaign invested heavily in a new get out the vote effort called the Abbott app
They were having people sign up on it and then all their contacts would be contacted by the Abbott campaign to get out to vote I got 20, 22 exactly text messages from people I know telling me to go vote that's not going to last and it's actually going to start pissing people off.
You amateur fricks need to quit talking about the news and numbers
like you know what it means
you don't

It would be embarrassing for those who rabidly supported Paxton, I agree
How is voting for a guy that doesnt win embarrassing?
Now if he is a gay twig that wants to mutilate kids and misreprests the one true God, then I understand the shame win or lose.

Yep, Crockett's peeps are not voting for the freak.

The left is going to be motivated to vote so bigger early voting numbers in urban areas isn’t shocking. But that’s all it means is voters are motivated.
The question is are GOP heavy areas up or down? Are they also motivated? If so, it’s a wash. If not, it’s a problem. It’s too early to tell if overall turnout will be higher or lower

Paxton is like a Bond villain with zero charisma but I can at least respect him being a finger in the eye of the GOPe and the extinguisher of the line of Bush.
It really is something to behold in Michigan. There’s not much difference between Slotkin and Rogers. Both love the Iran Not A War and Israel, both love the Ukraine War to the last dead Ukrainian and Russian and last US tax dollar and Patriot missile, both love the deep state and CIA, both loved the Iraq War, both love unlimited and unaccountable spying on Americans, both love massive spending, both love free trade, both love globalism, both love the UN, NATO, WHO, etc, both love open borders, both love Wall Street and hate Main Street…
and the alternative to Rogers is a Jew hating Marxist with family involvement in the Muslim Brotherhood.
Incredible.

I live near one of the largest polling places in Houston, and yesterday was really busy. However, there hasn't been a line at all at any point this morning, and the parking lot has never been more than half full. In prior elections, there was a line every day of early voting. So, let's see if the record turnout continues, or if it was just a first day anomaly.
