Just now on Fox News, reported by Nate Foy on Dana Perino and Bill Hemmer’s show.

GOP is rolling out incredible numbers.

I wonder how this offsets the under-polling of Republicans in terms of balancing predictions.

They said 100k voted. That doesn't seem like too many to me in a county with 3M peeps.

Why do I need to live in Harris County to understand their D/R lean?
The big, urban areas coming out in large numbers are required for Talafreako to win, along with southern TX flipping to be anti-Trump after flopping to be pro-Trump in 2024

Uh, no, I've said I don't think he wins many times, but the fact it's close is an embarrassment for Paxton/MAGA
Me understanding basic political polling analysis has no partisan slant or subjective desire.

Who do you prefer to win? Talarico or Paxton?

You believe Republicans are underpolled?
There have been instances but you think they are consistently underpolled?

If the libertarian had better immigration policies, I'd prefer him, but since he doesn't, I have no preference.

That's been true but I think the polls are getting better. It's not 2016 anymore
Larger than expected early voting in urban areas would offset this, though

The key to Republicans winning Texas is for the rural vote to turn out big for Paxton.
Posted on 10/20/26 at 8:20 am to LuckyTiger
I think that's already baked in. That's Paxton's base.
It's the urban Republicans (more moderate and likely to vote for Talafreako), urban Democrats (turnout), and South Texas Latinos (will they keep the 2024 trend, regress a little to the mean, or completely flip to blue?)

Of course
Zero care if Talarico wins. What a fiscally principled conservative you are.
