imo you're a moron to own one. completely agree one that's been a good boy all his life can flip that switch out of nowhere. seen it happen once
but i disagree with laws saying i can't have a dog because some moron with the same dog let his mutt go hog wild on someone. recently reversed but it was illegal to have a pit bull in denver for a few years

Have to disagree, Pits are a very smart breed of dog, we had one back in the late 70's, Ole Buster knew the word cat and swim and even if you spelled out the worlds he figured it out... Few more words in there also.. He was a pretty good dog, but he was hell to handle as kids, dad worked out of town and it became our job to take care of him when dad was gone, lets just say we had issue's... We had him over ten years, we finally put him down.... I would never own again, they are a very dangerous dog, one that had papers like Buster, pure breed.. Were very high strung, they are tanks, can run, jump over 8' foot fences, jump windows, eat whole thru a door in few hours, and rip carpet off the floor....

When I was a kid, my uncle raised pitts for hog hunting. He always said not all pitts will attack, but you never know which ones will.

No clue what you’re talking about . NONE ! My dogs never even growled at me or anyone they were around during their whole lives and both lived to be 13 years old . Again it’s how you raise the dog . The problem is the wrong people like these dogs because of their look and don’t have a clue what or how to train them and don’t bother training them. Therefore they get the bad rep.

I agree to some point but you have to be a Alpha to own a legit Pit, they will test you, seen it many times. You can't back down from them, went thru this with ours when I was a kid, found out real quick not to challege him, only one person was alpha over him, my dad...
