“when he snuck into this country to begin with, avoiding all “due process” procedures that are in place for legal immigration.”

I support immigration enforcement if that is what you’re getting at it. Garcia, however, was the subject of a court order saying “do not deport this man to El Salvador,” and the government violated that order. It’s the government’s lawlessness that concerns me in this instance.

For the millionth time, that’s not what we’re talking about.

What you are talking about is a non issue.

As will be the next deported person who is currently in this country without documentation nor parole.

The laws are already on the books, the Magnificent Mango is simply executing said laws.

Of course that's true. Glad Trump 2.0 is doing something about those sanctuary jurisdictions.

The bottom line is that there's no evidence of Abrego Garcia being charged with...or arrested for...crimes. AGAIN, I am just correcting false assertions.

None of this matters. Abrego Garcia is gone and he's not coming back. Almost all of us agree that's a good thing.

Were the same 1000 people polled?

Anyway, above water means he has support on this issue from all sides.

Even considering the constant barrage of negative news stories on the subject. Still Above Water.

“It's because you don't have the facts right in your head for whatever reason. No laws are being ignored or broken, there is no violation of the constitution, etc..”

Go read the Supreme Court’s decision. It is brief and clear, and it flatly contradicts your assertion. You can skip the Statement from the three liberal justices: just read the part that is 9-0.

For this guy, no. It’s likely over.

For everyone else moving forward, getting due process is paramount and a massive issue.

Hell I don’t even think Trump would disagree. It’s weird that people want to die on this hill.

And realistic. When one engages in an illegal activity along with millions of others, shite happens. We are talking government bureaucrats and their job performance.

That carries little weight if you're speaking to evidence a sanctuary jurisdiction would not provide. Maybe there is nothing... or very likely there is and Maryland isn't sharing.

Guess we'll never know. The case is over. The correct result was reached. Abrego Garcia has been removed forever from the US.

G'night

Trinidad: have you read the Supreme Court decision? Not articles or tweets about, just the very brief 9-0 decision itself. It simply does not square with what you’re saying. A man with a court saying not to deport him to El Salvador was nevertheless deported to El Salvador.

Eh maybe. We have mechanisms to deport a lot of people fairly quickly and still give them due process. Especially given how much border crossings have decreased.

You and I don’t have to agree but I’m grateful scotus went 9-0 on this issue.

Fine. Bit of a different facet... If some feel that not bringing him back is "tearing up The Constitution", why aren't they also up in arms about sanctuary cities "tearing up The Constitution" by ignoring federal laws?

CNN just came out with a pill saying that less than 3% of Trump voters in NOV would change their vote. So doubt Nate silvers #s are that accurate.

But we can do better from here out, right? Not make same mistake again? Is that too much to hope for?

Yes we can do better by not allowing democrats let in 20 million illegal aliens without being vetted. Thats the original sin. Thats the mistake that should never happen again. Is that too much to hope for?
