It’s harder to talk about J 6ers because there were so many of them and their situations varied, but I was concerned that many of them were not getting a fair shake. I don’t recall due process issues, per se, but there could have been.

Lol. Now you're just making up stuff.

Are you saying there are no sanctuary counties/cities in Maryland?

Do you know than in such jurisdictions, they ACTIVELY refuse to information share or otherwise cooperate with the feds?

Are you special?

Of course you're going to bed... ya have no arguments left.

Bottom line is this guy started life in El Salvador. Then one day appeared here in America. Now he’s back in El Salvador. Everything that happened during his time here in America doesn’t matter anymore now that he is back in El Salvador.

And the DOJ attorney who “acknowledged the deportation was illegal” was subsequently fired for insubordination.

Y'all keep saying that, but the controlling admission was the SWORN affidavit of the ICE Field Director. It wasn't an admission, so much as a recognition of the obvious. The hold hadn't been removed.

OK. I'm blue in the face. None of this really matters. Abrego Garcia is outside the jurisdiction of the United States courts and will never be re-admitted...which is good.

IDK you tell me. But yeah, let’s say sure.

There’s lots of others saying similar things. Dig into it if you want. But you gotta get this idea out of your head that it’s a crazy stretch to say things haven’t started that well 100 ish days in….

Wtf do you think drafts the declaration? The lawyer! The same one who couldn’t be bothered to defend the Government without capitulating.

Of course there are sanctuary cities in Maryland. That doesn't change the fact that all arrests are logged into the system and subject to subpoena.

Effectively I agree. His story is likely over.

But we can do better from here out, right? Not make same mistake again? Is that too much to hope for?

Pretty decent approval rating for a president of a divided nation... even more impressive that it's for Trump.

Again... I don't think this is the "gotcha" you think it is.

What you’re missing is that I’m not “crying” about him. I have no way of knowing whether he did the things he’s accused of in a tweet. What I do know is that the Supreme Court has affirmed 9-0 a decision that says he should not have been deported in the manner he was. Perhaps you don’t care about our Constitution. I do.

Sanctuary jurisdictions are sanctuary because they do not cooperate with the feds. They don't info share, they don't do holds, they actively buck the system. And are PROUD of so doing!

You think the ICE Field Director doesn't know immigration law and would sign something under penalty of perjury that he knew was wrong?

Being -4 in the polls really isn’t that terrible for trump, if you compare it to his numbers first term. Also compared to Biden’s numbers when he left office it’s like 15 points better on net.

The tariffs are weighing trump down.

Immigration remains by far his strongest issue. Polling averages have him at +13 on that issue.

I think it’s because border crossings are down 95% from 1/20/25.

Would be a shame if the tariff crap sinks him but I think he will eventually walk them back, except maybe the China tariffs.

I never intended for it to be. I was simply saying it’s his best issue, which you can probably admit too.

Everyone else just wants to believe the perception is he’s doing great at everything and it’s just objectively false.

Nobody really cares, were an eternity from mid terms.

If the DOJ lawyer drafts it for him to sign, I absolutely think so.

And he's above water on it... which means even some democrats and independents are on board with it.

Nah. One out of a thousand isn't too bad. It's pretty good actually.
