Yeah Ted might should have thought about this way harder. If he wants to remember the Entebbe Raid the he should have done it back on Monday and said this week is the anniversary of the raid. This weekend if about American Independence. He was going to do nothing but piss people off with a post like that this weekend. He should have posted this way earlier or done it in a belated post.

Nothing. It wasn't meant to be about that. He was remembering an event that happens to share the same date, and as others have pointed out, this was 3 years ago. Was he forever disallowed from mentioning this? Does he talk about it every year?

Nah, That Entebbe raid the Israelis pulled off was a big thing at the time, still is or should be, and especially since it was only a few years removed from the 72 Munich Olympic massacre.
