Why is Tim Tebow getting an NFL job instead of Colin Kaepernick?
He used his white privilege and also because of racism.
Kaepernick probably wishes he would have thought of it.

The difference.... Tebow is probably one of the nicest guys on the planet... and he also recognizes that he sucks as a QB and is willing to try something else.

Tebow could still be cut.

Calling the nfl racist when the vast majority of players are black (manly because of the HUGE privilege of genetic engineering while being slaves) is insane.

Well one player is willing to change positions and do whatever the team needs and one is a whiny brat who will only play QB, and is subpar at that.

Tebow didn’t sue his employer.

I paid almost no attention to the Kneeling Football League in five years, but two years ago, didn't they set up some sort of mini-pro-day solely to evaluate Kaepernick by nearly every interested team, and there were a few interested, and poor Colin refused to attend, so he could keep up his false narrative?

The NFL has never had an issue hiring players that are drama..... when they are good

Kareem Hunt got another shot
Antonio Brown has had multiple shots
Cam Newton (not really a bad person but still a headache) has been given shots
Michael Irvin
Ray Lewis

All these guys were black and had baggage and yet they were given opportunities because they were good.

The NFL is not racist but they do want to win.

Still holding out hope that Guice gets another shot, because he's a good football player

Well, Tebow is a proven, world-class, multi discipline athlete who is willing to play an entirely new position to get a second shot at the NFL. He also sees an opportunity to fill an interesting new role made possible by guys like Taysom Hill.

Kaep still wants to be a starting NFL QB. Big difference.

These arguments just don't hold water. Colin Kaepernick is an athlete who wants to play QB while also making a starting QB's salary. Tim Tebow is an athlete who has agreed to change positions while also agreeing to earn the league's minimum salary. He could also be cut at anytime.

That's the difference. Also...Tebow actually wants to play the game. Most NFL owners know Kaepernick has no desire to ever play football again. It's all one big virtue signal. He'd be taking a pay cut and would actually have to work. He's getting paid tens of millions of dollars by NIKE to do absolutely nothing.

Good grief the lying cucks in that article! If Kap could help a team, he would be given a chance by somebody but he is a 3rd string guy that is too selfish to be a team guy.

BTW, Tebow should have swallowed his pride a decade ago and done this.

Tebow using his Urban Meyer privilege. Urban may be the only coach who truly knows how to use him.

Again people conveniently forget Kap was about five mins away from being cut before he got woke.

But I’m sure that had nothing to do with it.

Tim Tebow is a publicity stunt to sell season tickets. You have this story of Tebow returning to Florida to play pro football in the state where he is surrounded by Florida Gator fans the worships the ground he walks on. Then add the excitement of being reunited with his old college coach where they won the the national title and you have a heck of a story to sell.

This is a one year gig at best.

Did the one-year contract give it away?
