A teacher's job should have nothing to do with influencing a child's political or social beliefs.

Not critical thinking. Critical theory. There’s a difference.

Yep, and in this light what this teacher says actually makes sense. Critical Theory and it's worldview brooks no dissention, otherwise you are "harming" someone. Rogan's willingness to talk to just about anyone is anathema to that ideology.

That magazine reads like its geared toward 20 somethings who are emotionally teenagers and clueless about basic facts of the adult world, like where interest rates come from.

Yeah, that idiot has either never watched/listened to his podcast or is just a dishonest clown. Rogan being labeled as alt-right is more disturbing than funny.

My son had to learn to write with a leftist view to improve his grades for one english teacher.

The second my English Comp II instructor walked in the room I knew I was going to have to lie my arse off in papers that semester.

I wrote one bullshite paper on how ethanol was going to save the planet. It got glowing reviews by her.

She wasn’t the outward obvious leftist you see nowadays... but you could tell you damn sure better not be writing papers praising Barry Goldwater or Ronald Reagan.

I read the article this morning. They highlight the examples of flat earthers and some ardent “rape isn’t real types” but slip in how they don’t like that Peterson, Shapiro, and Rogan have influence. None of those men are advocating for ANYTHING extreme. They all just support individual agency and accountability. They also support men and women being different.

The article and website absolutely have an agenda and it’s terribly transparent.

These teachers insist the only truths are the one they speak.

It begins and ends with projection and a quest for power coupled with wide scale, extreme mental illness.

In wondering the “why” behind certain actions, that is the common vein running through almost all political board threads in referencing the aggregation of Democrats, liberals, progressives, socialists and Marxist.

Without a doubt she has failed considering her belief that the purpose of her job is to program our children with her leftist viewpoint.

What a dangerous and warped since of reality she has.

"Radicalized Online"? Sounds like projection to me.

yeah if you read the article, it's 100% projection

Jacob and Tessa’s experiences seem to be especially typical for teachers based in areas where deep conservatism is the norm. Here, the problem of students radicalizing online is often compounded at a social and institutional level, with far-right views being encouraged by parents and even other teachers.

oh so these are kids being "radicalized online" while living in conservative areas with conservative families and communities

but it's that GODDAMN internet, i tell ya!

A teachers job is to teach history, math, science, and English.

It is not to indoctrinate a student to their views.

Unless we’re defining the far right as anyone who just says whatever pops into their head and likes shooting the shite with a random assortment of people, he’s nothing of the sort.

Roger - they define it as anything that does not precisely toe the (Bolshevik) party line. It isn't any more complicated than that.

Ben Shapiro is clearly, obviously and demonstrably just a classic, old school, traditional conservative - which means in 1955 he would have been a "classic liberal". Rogan is a left-leaning libertarian. Since Peterson is an academic who is "off the reservation" (similar to Gad Saad) and developed a following, he's targeted for special attention (akin to black folks espousing conservative views who must be destroyed in the eyes of the left).

Their whole scam seems to be exploding.
