Been doing the same for 25+ years.

I started a thread stating the same as this previous post and several people told me that i needed to be unbiased when I teach. Man F that! The liberals are not backing down and neither am I!

they dropped a Jordan Peterson reference, so either this article is either really old or the people making these comments haven't received new talking points in about 12-16 months

I love this. They are now on the receiving end of the rebellion they stoked fro decades against the religious conservative, former establishment.

Now, they are the establishment, the new puritans ruthlessly and angrily enforcing their dogma. They're bitchy, pissy tyrants and kids don't want to emulate that.

Dems are so goddamn cringey that they very easily could alienate young people who value not being a weak nerds.

Exactly. I'm interested to see what these types of "alt-left" consider "alt right" in the near future. Golf? Baseball? Saying that someone that enjoys either of these things make a person "alt right" is as absurd as the Joe rogan comment.

This works in our favor similar to the way the war on drugs worked out. Remember how bad they tried to make weed sound? Once we were old enough to realize it wouldn't literally turn you into a fried egg you start to question all of it. I see the same thing happening here. These kids hear "the right is so bad, the right is so bad, Joe rogan is the DEVIL!?!" then these kids actually listen to rogan or Peterson & realize they speak common sense. Which leads them to question all of the other stuff they've heard. This is how the pendulum swings back.

Often, it’s hard for teachers to tell whether a student is being truly red-pilled in the sense that they’re being radicalized online,

It’s sad when things like having an independent opinion, having morals, having a work ethic, being pro constitution, pro family and pro country are all things viewed as radical.
