companies being hurt by the tariffs
i've already addressed this with you and others have as well

you are trying to single out certain companies in certain sectors to complain about a NATIONAL policy. overall, the strategy is working

moreover, you are now committing the same fallacy as your buddy shrubber in neglecting to acknowledge that companies were already hurting before the tariffs

no you don't. i have called you out on several mistakes you are making and you are ignoring the reality of the situation both before the tariffs and after

It's sad you have to explain this to him.

Explain how they worked
you said yourself that china is backing down.

quote:

So they are buying soybeans once the other supplies are gone
you don't know this for sure. all we know is that they backed down after trump called their bluff

quote:

They would have bought a lot more soybeans from the US had they not put a tariff on them
head in sand. things were not good with them before. just because you don't care doesn't mean everyone else should be stupid too

quote:

Why would anybody pay more for a soybean than they had too?? If Brazil has beans for $6 and the US has them for $6 but a Chinese user will have to pay a $1 tariff on beans from the US which is he going to buy????

there is no logic to your posts.
i stated facts and asked you simple questions. i understand why you would evade my content

Do you have any facts to back up your assertion that tariffs are good?
other than the fact that BOTH the eu and china backed down? no. none at all. you got me.

Why shouldn't we remove all tariffs?
they are a tool. they are working.

you say we shouldn't tariff but everyone else can if they want. you then say they are only hurting themselves because of subsidies. they have been funding it BY MAKING US PAY FOR IT through their tariffs. did it ever occur to you that other countries are actually profiting from us through tariffs?

GASP, i seem to recall the president saying exactly this

Clowns here never knew shite about our trade policies or the tariffs we had to pay because they never saw it on CNN OR MSNBC prior to TRUMP tackling it. They thought everything was fine because their MSM never reported it to them. They are the morons the msm caters to. Keeps them dumbed down.

Another sold article. It's crazy. Trump could've had a great economy but he shoots himself in the dick because of his ego.

So it would actually be a CHINESE tariff that would hurt them not a US tariff because the goods would be an import to China. OR the goods would be produced and sold in the US so there would be no issues
IB you stuuuupiid.

You are the one who is stupid. It didn't say they weren't building the plant because of tariffs, it said they were not building the plant because of trade friction between the two countries.
