These idiots actually believe a president can suspend an election… no need to argue the constitution with them

Trump is sharp as ever, but who knows what he will be like 3 years from now at 82 or whatever. Talking matter of factly about something that far out at Trump's age is just shite-stirring at this point.

Yeah

Chaos in the streets if this keeps up

No choice but to”Martial Law”

And if that happens, there will be no change of guard.

I said this during the dementia patients illegal term, that if a mini civil war happened, that is what will happen, no matter who is in office.

It's ludicrous that it's even being mentioned, unless it's for no other reason than to get a rise out of the dems. If that's all it's for, then carry on.

It is not ludicrous to ponder the 'what-ifs' - and 'how could it happen'

No more than it is ludicrous to discuss the chances of LSU winning the National Championship this year.

AND - it is a LOT more RELEVANT than LSU as national championships.

IF there were a Department of FAIRNESS it would already have been decreed that he SHOULD be given a '3rd Term' - and use any rhetorical trick you can muster up to justify it.

And if you did that, the rhetoric would be a LOT more relevant to the true situation than ANYTHING the Democrats are spewing about the 'govt shutdown' or anything the mainstream media has devoted ten YEARs of gaslighting the public over.

Trump was CHEATED out of his FIRST term in terms of being able to devote his time to the duties of the OFFICE - the DEMOCULT and their handmaidens in the MEDIA absorbed 3/4 of his time and attention to their FALSE CHARGES and CONSTANT interference.

Trump was CHEATED out of his 2nd term by the most BLATENT example of cheating in a national election in our history.

SO - to a FAIR person - the idea of trying to 'make up' for these abject instances of treason, sedition, lawfare, propaganda, disloyalty, obstruction, malfeasance, et al would be a pertinent topic to discuss - KNOWING that it cannot happen.

Any more than 'what if' discussions about play calling on a college DISCUSSION BOARD would be considered out of line.

YES - Trump DESERVEs a 3rd term - but it cannot happen because the arrow of time only goes in one direction.

But is it an apt TOPIC to discuss in the process of discussing the ACTUAL CRIMES committed against him for over 10 years.

There are zero ways around it. Some of you people are itching to fall into authoritarianism.

The only thing that I can say for certain after reading this thread is that FLTech may be the dumbest person on TigerDroppings.

It can't be done without changing the constitution. There is nothing to discuss really unless they are drawing up an amendment to the constitution, which would require 2/3rds support.

It's a non-story.

100% this.

Nothing in the constitution says trump can't be president again. It just says he can't be elected as president again.

I love how half this thread is MAGA saying you're being trolled by Bannon if you believe this, and the other half is MAGA saying "well of course he's allowed a third term because LEFTIST DEMOCRATS STOLE TIME FROM HIM"

When Trump and Vance refer to a 3rd term they are 100% trolling. It's shocking that people are actually stupid enough to take the bait. You do realize how old Trump is, right?

Bannon . . .I'm not sure. He seems a little nutty

1 - No. Two terms for President. That's it.
2 - He'd be 82 years old, 86 by the end of a 3rd term. We already have too many 80+ year old frickers in elected office. Need less, not more.
