Our tax dollars wasted, well that's a surprise no matter what US ADMINISTRATION. I served in the military and we didn't leave anything over there that really matters to us. We did the say shite in Vietnam. After some time, that stuff will rust away into oblivion due to no spare parts.

I think the question is, once the dust clears, how much worse was it vs. what it reasonably could have been?
This was going to be a historically significant foreign policy failure 10 years ago or more. This day was always coming. So I'm judging it against that.
Of course, I have no love for this administration and absolutely going to put blame their for their blunders.

The issue is not pulling out of Afghanistan. That needed to happen. I think everyone agrees with that.
It's how it was done, along with a complete lack of contingency planning. Going on TV saying the Taliban won't take back over and having it happen in weeks, not months or years, doesn't help either.

its totally dependent on what happens with the american citizens who are being told to shelter in place. if there is no plan to get them out and we actually leave them behind for the men to be executed and the women and children to be turned into actual slaves then yea, this is the worst foreign policy disaster in american history and biden should be impeached
