I love the fact that our Government has straight up said "We don't know how many Americans are in the country".
So, the Taliban could start kidnapping folks and we leave without even knowing Americans are in the hands of the Taliban.

I've been harping on that for three days now. Our State Department, even prior to this shitshow, has/had no frickimg idea how many American citizens were in the capital city of a country that is an active war zone. On a good day, that is inexcusable.

This was by design which is why we are cutting and running on the 31st. There will be a lot of Americans who just "disappeared" or what the Biden Administration will classify as those who didn't want to leave Afghanistan.

That's a risky game. Definitely would be a chess move though. I just don't trust Biden to hold up his end on that.
