Neither did I. Just yesterday I believed there couldn't possibly be large numbers of Americans outside of the Embassy in Kabul. I figured there were some, but not the type numbers we are hearing. Forgive me, I underestimated the incompetence of this Administration and believed there was no way they could have allowed that many civilians to stay in Kabul proper with an advancing enemy army headed towards the city.
It really does just keep getting more and more unbelievable.

So what does that list tell me, a non military person?? Obviously flights in and out and where they're from but are they ACTUALLY able to land/load/return to air??

I'm hoping some baws around here can chime in. What it tells you, at face value, is that flights are moving in and out. The call signs listed can tell you what country they are from and other stuff. I'm not versed in that at all, though.
