There is no way Black & Hispanic male Democrats vote for Talarico in big numbers. They are not driving to a voting booth to press a voting lever for an effeminate soy boy who thinks there are 6 genders.

Austin had seemingly forever been politically strange but over the past 30 years or so it has grown to become “giant Austin” - with even more political weirdos living in it.
Houston, Dallas, San Antonio have all become “Austinized” and blue as people from elsewhere have continued to pour in.
Conservatism still lives in TX but even as big as Texas is, the population in these “blue” urban centers is starting to have its impact felt.
Texas had also remained a relative stronghold of Bush-era Republicanism and Bush-era Pubs were never particularly well known for aggressively or effectively combating the Blue Menace that is modern Progressive Leftism.

He'll get a decent number of Aggies though.

That, and, people down vote me whenever I say this, some of the most vehement progressives I have ever met.

Beto stuck his foot in his mouth, was beyond annoying in public, and faced a much better opponent… and still stayed fairly close somehow.
Talarico has a better chance than Beto but you can still file this one under the “believe when I see it” column of 2026 senate races.

This is Cruz vs Beto all over again.

Paxton will beat talafreakho

Yeah, James "I always think of myself as a Christian who hates Christianity" Talarico never sticks his foot in his mouth.
He's not going to win and it's not going to be close.

Talarico has a better chance than Beto

I think he’s going to win, but Paxton seems like a huge piece of shite, I don’t understand how he got the nomination

There are certainly a shite ton more switch hitters and gays in TX than there was just 10 years ago.

This is completely false! Paxton will win with Massive landslide

You left off Illegal Immigrants, Muslims, and Pajeets as well. Texas is becoming America's version of England.

Nice logic tranny, “Paxton is a sleazy politician but conservative when it matters and I can’t vote for him but Talarico loves the gays and is uber liberal. He’s my guy!!” It’s laughable how stupid the average American is

Everyone thinks Talerico is a creepy little freak. He'll lose by 12
Those two sentences don’t jive with each other. Talarico clearly IS a creepy little freak. If a person who everyone thinks is that keeps it within 12, Texas has problems in the future.
Turnout would have to be super low for him to keep it within 12 and me not be worried.
