You don't need to. Just get someone that can entertain across a wide range of ages and demographics and who isn't making headlines for their stances on hot button political or social issues. I don't think Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, or Usher would remotely be considered to be conservative artists....but they had mainstream audience appeal, put on entertaining shows, and weren't vocally engaged in hot button political / social debates.

Boycotts don't work because people are rarely willing to endure the smallest inconvenience to make it work.
Bud Light worked because there were several other options to switch to. Target worked because there are plenty of other places to get the stuff they sell. There is no other option for the NFL, and only a tiny percentage of the population is willing to do without to force any kind of change.
Our society fabricated the entire concept of body positivity and fatphobia so people would not have to stop stuffing their fat faces long enough to save their own lives. If you can't convince a majority of people to do something as monumental as add decades to their own lives, how many people do you think you can convince to simply be bored on Sunday?
