Subject to jurisdiction of…

Could an illegal immigrant who is of draft age be drafted (against their will) into the US armed forces?
Could the child who was born here and is a US citizen who moved back to China with his/her parents after birth be drafted into the US armed forces?
Do these citizens who didn’t grow up here have to register for selective service?

Actually, you might be on to something here. Let's institute the draft, just for anchor babies, and send them to finish this thing in Iran.

That child could certainly serve on SCOTUS!

Illegals don’t have the same burdened obligations as Americans.

Who is required to register?
U.S. citizens:
This includes those born in the U.S., dual citizens, and naturalized citizens, regardless of where they live.
Immigrants:
This applies to legal permanent residents, undocumented immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and agricultural workers.
Age group:
Men aged 18 through 25. Registration is required up until a man's 26th birthday

Entitled to everything, accountable to nothing.

Why would someone who has no connection with a country other than a piece of paper have any motivation to risk their life to protect and defend it?

If the government can’t find you to call you into military service or serve on a jury or do anything else American citizens have to do the how can a person be subject to the jurisdiction of?

[quote]serve on a jury[/quote[
You have to be registered to vote for that. And, while illegals cannot register to vote (preferably), US citizens are not required to register to vote, either. So scratch that one off your list of "things Americans have to do that illegals do not"

Apparently these anchor babies living in China need to be paying federal income taxes. Democrats will probably twist it so that our Chinese brothers and sisters start receiving Earned Income Credit.
The left has turned the Constitution into a suicide pact.

Why would you want this person in your military?

I'm not even sure it still is required for anyone, but say it still is a law, how many natural born citizens do you think have never sign up? and how many of them do you think get arrested or even called by the board to tell them they have to sign up?

Then they should be denaturalized.

Anyone can serve on SCOTUS. There are no requirements.

Plenty of dead people seem to vote every election. Mail in ballots go to every in a state like California. We don’t know who is voting there.

They would be just as likely to desert to the enemy and start shooting you, which would be treason punishable by death.
So yes, your point is valid.
Why would we want those who are a high treason risk anywhere near our armed forces, police or government offices in general?
What benefit does a nation get from having a class of “citizens” such as this?

From that Chat GPT guy:
What are the legal implications of the 14th Amendment's jurisdiction clause?
The jurisdiction clause of the 14th Amendment establishes that all persons born or naturalized in the United States are citizens, which includes children born to non-citizen parents, as long as they are subject to U.S. jurisdiction. This clause has been interpreted to mean that only children of foreign diplomats or hostile forces are excluded from automatic citizenship at birth.
Hmmmm....Officially declare China as a hostile enemy?

This is why a military draft for the foreseeable future is a bad idea for the well being of this military and country.
under normal circumstances a draft means your largely picking from a pool of people who do not want the serve or may not even respect the military but they consider themselves to love and respect this country. (there are always exceptions, but in general I believe I'm accurate).
In this day and ages the military will be drafting from a pool of people who actively hate this country and some wish to change this countries foundation and some even out right seek to harm this countries welfare. (again, there are always exceptions, but in general I believe I'm accurate).

Being an American is much more than getting a piece of paper at birth.

I agree 100%.
That's why I thing the conservative should take this opportunity to make specific definitions of birthright, citizen, and none citizen and just what each of those classification are entitled to, or restricted from as it were.
