I certainly am no expert on the market these days, and I don't know if I ever met a cartel,or a Phish Fan.

what are you? Some kind of proponent for fulltime martial law...
No. I'm for not selling a drug to the public as safe.
We are starting to see the results.

they (Doctors) will also say that red wine is ok to consume during pregnancy
Drs are not promoting it as safe for morning sickness. The pot industry is.

Ao you are ok with pot being promited as healthy
Relevance?
What does this have to do with whether or not it should be legal?

Marijuana may be even safer than previously thought .
That doesn't promote it as 100% safe. It says it is safer than previously thoght, and again I'll ask you safe in what context?
quote:
Latest Studies Confirm Medical Marijuana Is Safe Long-Term
Medical Marijunana used for medical purposes is safe long term. Its not habit forming, its not physically addictive, and you can't overdose on it. That's a fact. What problem do you have with this?
quote:
Scientific Studies From 2016 Showing Marijuana Is Safe and Effective
Safe and effective in what context? Something cant just "be effective" . That doesnt make any sense. And that link is just stating that it is safer that most alternative recreational drugs, which is again factually true, and again if it is net safer , isn't that a good thing?
quote:
Breast milk while smoking pot is better than formula
Well. Is it? Do you have a study that moderate pot use leads to neurological development issues in a fetus?
Your link in the OP says "pre-natal pot use by a mother may lead to a decreased higher level thinking" what is the study on the parents of those children?
If a dumbass set of parents smokes weed and produces a dumbass kid it's most likely because of genetics and environment that the kid is a dumbasss. Not pot.
Again you seem to be confusing correlation with causation quite often.

As long as we all agree that you're just a populist liberal (bordering on tyrannical), JJ, then I have no problem with your stance. You want big government to modify behavior to its most "healthy" and with minimal financial impact to society. You're certainly not alone in that camp.
Your science angle is shite, mostly, but there is no denying some negative financial consequences nationally from ingestion over the long term on such a macro scale. Though you are completely guessing what those impacts would be. You're also completely disregarding the generated revenue that would counteract those expected costs. But considering your posts above, I at least better understand the angle.

Good lord dude. Responsible recreational pot use doesn't effect your family.
You know what massively effects your family under your definition and issue?
The Sugar Industry.

You have yet to post a single credible marketed lie in this thread.

Boy that is rich coming from someone who claims hundreds fatally overdose on marijuana yearly.

You seem to have completely conflated two different issues.
If a legal product is marketed falsely, we have mechanisms that are supposed to deal with that.
That is an ENTIRELY different question from whether the product should be legal.

That's pretty obvious to everyone. But it's hard to sell a point around here by saying "______ could potentially impact my family, so the government needs to make sure that you can't ________."
It's a pretty untenable position on what is considered to be a right leaning board. Thus, the bullshite science angle, and hold onto it for dear life.

Not one damn thing to do with the topic.
However, don't break the f'n law and that would not happen.
You're topic is potential detrimental effects you are worried people having as a result of marijuana legalization. So yeah if criminalization is having detrimental effects then it has to do with the topic.
Don't break the law. Land of the free. Government knows best.

After the atheists (most of which are potheads) made Christianity basically illegal for the last 8 years it sure is rich to hear them scream at the sky now that Trump (big Christian btw) made their drug illegal again. How does it feel now that the shoe is on the other foot?

I'll feed you, Gaucho. If only for your continued commitment. But only a little...
It was always illegal for me. I'm in Texas. But I'm also in Houston, where it is decriminalized. I can possess up to 4oz without threat of arrests. Though I never have more than 1 oz on me at a time. So, really, nothing has changed for me in decades other than the election of Kim Ogg locally.
So how does it feel? Exactly the same as it did before Beauregard was ignored by all his federal prosecutors. High.

I can only do so much to attempt to reach the struggling addicts like you out there. Even if you don't seek help, at least avoid the school buses and old ladies when you get high and drive
