I don’t need studies to see that keeping it illegal is hurting people’s lives. Having someone get arrested can impact a whole family, especially when the person arrested loses their job and now their name is popping up on searches making employment more difficult. Those are real, legitimate negative impacts that are occurring now.

Not one damn thing to do with the topic.

However, don't break the f'n law and that would not happen.

This is what I expect to happen. All the potheads running around claiming pot is a miracle drug are going to end up eating those words.

No I don't think pot should be illegal, but I also don't think its a harmless drug.

It's not. But that should have no bearing on legality considering the other things we allow in society

Can you agree that MJ is a safer alternative to alcohol?

I disagree with the whole thought of "It's safer thus ok"

That's the idea here right?

Making a comparison is really stupid. Each should stand on it's own.

However, once again.. the topic..

Pot is promoted as safe and it's promoted as a way to naturally cure morning sickness.

Go to the Emergency room and both the Nurse and Dr are high. The treatment may be lousy but you won't care.

This is happening now. One of the professions with the highest abuse rate is physician.

It's not like doctors and nurses have access to hardcore drugs or anything.

No one says it's a harmless drug with no side effects.

However, factually, its impossible to overdose on and it's not physically addictive.

In that case, I would choose something grown in the good ol'dirt, over something made in a lab factory, every time.

Pot is promoted as safe

In what context? What context are you or the advertiser using the word safe?

Safe to use in large quantities while operating heavy machinery or performing open heart surgery? no.

Safe to use in moderation and recreation at home by yourself? Yes. It is. Can you give me a list of reasons or ways it is not safe?

promoted as a way to naturally cure morning sickness.

Again, is it? What doses cure morning sickness? What doses are harmful to the fetus?

How does it compare to the current marketed ADA approved remedy for morning sickness?

And i know you dont want to compare, but if it is infact a safer alternative to the current market for morning sickness drugs, isn't that a good thing?

Links in the thread. Yes. Daily Beast included.

That seems to be what you think is happening. You're arguing against an argument that doesnt exist.

BS!

Marijuana may be even safer than previously thought .

What does that headline from WAPO say to young people?

Latest Studies Confirm Medical Marijuana Is Safe Long-Term

Don't even try to sell me on it's not promoted a safe!

Scientific Studies From 2016 Showing Marijuana Is Safe and Effective

So... Yes.. the industry tries it's best to say it's safe... long term and short term. The over all message is "It's safe"

These are different headlines and links than those already provided.

Here's a great one...

Breast milk while smoking pot is better than formula

maybe it is helpful for morning sickness? Do you have a medical study that says it's not? DO you know what dosage and frequency begins to effect the fetus? Can you contrast that with the current marketplace? What's the ADA approved and marketed cure for morning sickness and how does it affect the development of a fetus? How does the effects of cannibus compare?

My god...

Already linked and that's the single most ludicrous comment I have ever seen.
