Schiff is a well known pos. Granted Cali is liberal, it’s hard to believe a lot of people like Schiff.
Don't knock it. Trump's hopes are pinned on a lot people that think hes a pos and don't like it still voting for him.

The big difference is Trump is not a danger to the constitutional republic but Schitty Schiff certainly is.....dude lied about Trump/Russia Collusion for over three years and still claims it's true.

There's no "algorithms" at play here. The early returns were mostly from small, rural counties in eastern California which were inclined to vote Republican and for Garvey. Most of those counties have most of their tallies in. The urban, mainstream voting coastal counties are still 50% or less counted, even now. And in some counties, Alameda, Santa Clara, San Francisco notably, Barbara Lee and Katie Porter, in addition to Schiff are way ahead of Garvey in votes counted

Can you explain how Garveys vote number went from 1.8 million to 900 thousand?

If they were still counting, shouldn’t ALL totals still be increasing?

The same thing happens in Louisiana.

You have some of reddest of red parishes finish uploading votes to the SOS before 9 pm because they may have 30-50 precincts or voting machines to process, while blue parishes like Orleans and Caddo are still uploading votes at 11 pm because of the hundreds of precincts and voting machines to process.

This never makes sense to me. I thought rural things were slow and methodical, whereas the city folks were much more efficient .

Don't give me its a numbers game, because cities have more people that can count, thus the ratios of voters to counters will still be roughly the same

I think you are confusing the numbers. There were actually two different things people were voting on. One, the remaining term, and the other the term that will begin in 2025. Garvey is leading the race to serve out the remaining term, but is slightly behind in the general election term. Either way, he had a very strong showing this week.

His use of "mainstream" was poor, but his overall point was correct. The major metro areas along the coast determine California statewide elections, not the smaller, rural, inland areas that vote conservative.

I completely agree on what Cali deserves but he votes for making laws that are against American and We don't deserve that. What a total POS.

I got excited when I first saw the numbers that Garvey and Schiff got.
My thought was that there could be a real chance to get a GOP US Senator from CA. Then I looked at the total number of votes.
I quickly scanned all the Dem/GOP vote, I think the Dems have an estimated 500,000 more votes....this is a super rough estimate. So reality sat in, it aint happening.

The only way for it to happen would be that the Dem turnout is so bad for Biden that the under card races would suffer. I don't see this happening with Trump as the nominee, they will turn out to vote against Trump.
