I actually watch the video and no where in it did I see a cop getting beat with a flag pole. I think you are assuming that the person with the plexiglass shield is a cop. There is no evidence that the person holding it is a cop.

The murderer that pulled that trigger is lucky. Nothing is going to happen to him, but a lot of families would not sit still for it. If he ends up in a bad way, I won't shed a tear.

5' 2", 110 pounds, female. I have never seen an unarmed female this size that would be a threat to 5 armed men. Out of many pics from the scene she was the least person to be capable of harming or injuring anyone.
