Wow takes a really shitty lawyer to ask a message board to show him the law that was broken.

Probably not, my man. If you actually cared about facts you'd accept that by any metric, children are safer with LGBTQ over catholic priests
Uh, the Catholic Priests that have abused children were gay men who flocked to the priesthood.

And the majority of the cases were a gay man and a gay teenager, which the gays want to legalize and normalize. They would be OK with it if a gay 40-year-old picked up a gay 15-year-old in a park or shopping mall.
While certainly horrendous and illegal, these cases are not generally the type of pedophilia that most people envision.

Let's say this is true. What specific law is violated if a state declines to allow a person to foster kids, based upon religious beliefs of the person?
Let's say a topic is posted on here and you don't show up to take the other side. You know AH86 will be in a thread before you even click on it.

Eliminating potential foster parents due to their religious beliefs, good luck finding many other folks to foster. My wife and I have fostered for a couple of years now, the vast majority of our various fostering support groups are by and large Christians.

It's a tough situation to navigate for the State departments. On one hand, you really want to get these kids into loving homes and out of group foster care. You also want to make sure you are doing what is best for the child and not putting them in a potential bad situation. I think DCF probably overreacted here.

Simply saying they aren't eligible to foster due to being Christians is most certainly an overreaction. Before any placement we discuss with the case worker the child and the right type of environment to see if we are a good fit. My wife and I are very active in our Church and we honestly wouldn't be able to foster were it not for their support. Because of that we've had to turn away a few placements and a few kids said they wouldn't be comfortable with going to Church with us so they declined being placed with us. But to just flatly state someone isn't eligible due to one's religious beliefs is evil and in no way takes into account the kids in the systems well being nor the potential foster families

Well this case actually sounds a lot like your situation. I read some of the complaint online and it sounds like the decision wasn't a blanket refusal just due to their religion. Both parents work at their church and said they would have to bring their child to church with them no matter what ("It's a sticking point." is what the mother said.)I get that a statement like that caused some pause with DCF. I don't know that it warranted a full denial either though.

Let me guess two butt pirates or two carpet munchers would have had no problem fostering. This world is going to hell and democrats are driving the bus

"Bad" as defined by ....? Can gay couples be foster parents?

Any number of things. I didn't say a Christian household was bad.

Depends on the state I believe.

They really shouldn't. Is it more beneficial to a child to be raised by normal hetero parents or a few gay/pedo/trannies?

Lmao... Proving my point, son. Facts don't care about your feelings, especially as your feelings tend to suggest supporting pedophilia.

Ah. You’re a bigot. Got it. Likely uneducated. Most blatant bigots are.

Their religious beliefs and practices may limit who is placed with them, but by no means should it have prevented them from getting a license to foster
