Do want. Never going to happen. Just covering for the grotesque CR that trump will sign more than likely because of midterms. The thing we have to all realize is that neither party will touch a balanced budget as it is political suicide. Neither side wants a super majority as they would be held accountable for what they pass into legislation. The machine can make this happen because of blue states. Nothing will change without an uprising from the public of epic proportions. In other words, status quo. It hurts me to the core.

Correct, going nowhere. It’s good to get it out there for a possibility in the future, but right now there should be maximum pressure by republicans from both chambers and every other direction on Thune to get the fricking SAVE act passed. That should be the only focus for republicans in congress right now.

I love it when the very officials of whom various actions have been demanded (and thoroughly trashed unless and until they do initiate the process to do so), only to be met with more doubt, cynicism, and yes even more trashing. It’s kinda hard to blame them for not acknowledging some folks amongst us with their loud, nonstop griping, and yes once again, our old friend “trashing” as well.
