Wow.

I don't like wearing masks. I'm not happy the mask mandate is back. I don't own a vespa. I'm not a communist.

What goal post did I move? I've never said either work 100%.

Why isn't there a generally understood percentage on how much the masks "work" by now? Another guy posting in this thread linked to the CDC page, and they've got possible efficacy percentages literally all over the board from 0.49% to 79%.

How can we not have something more accurate by now, given that these masks are now seen as the chief driving force we are using to stop this?

You can’t fear monger if they only work 1% of the time.

If one is vaccinated and wears a mask they should shut the frick up.

Masks and vaccinations either work or they don’t.

And given the fact that we had real world test cases where various states tried things differently? Surely states like Texas and Florida should have had astronomically higher rates than California when they pulled the masks mandates in early Spring?

Well, did they?

Masks are dubious at best, especially they way 80% of people wear them. The restaurant mask policies seem like a parody and will be made fun of in 30 years like "duck and cover" from the 1950s is now.

Vaccines work, but not 100%.

That makes no sense

Their relative efficacy is important. Everyone (even little bitches like you) knows that nothing is 100%

Except, it seems, for the fact that it appears apparently NOBODY has a clue as to what that is with regard to masks.

I googled your question. Pretty quickly saw many articles from many different sources saying masks help. Here are a couple pics from the EPS's website following an April Report.

No shite. frick stick.

The point is you people should vaccinate and mask up.

Leave the rest of us alone.

My goodness you are such a cu-nt. A count that can’t take a hint.

No one gives a shite about your opinion here.

You open mouth selfie counts are just terrible.

What does "Fitted Filtration Efficacy," and specifically those percentages, mean with regard to this covid virus?

My question then still remains

Why wear one if it doesn't work? So if it works a little bit it's ok?

Did you find one with images of people wearing them below their noses, under their chin, etc because when this was in effect last time, a huge portion of masks were being worn like that.

Meaning, at no point during any of the mask mandates were masks being worn to any standard. Essentially, even when they were mandated, the lack of wearing them properly was virtually like not wearing them at all, so going BACK to that seems fricking absurd.

The better question is:
When faced with a threat that poses a 10% chance of contraction and a 0.2% chance of taking your life, why in TF would you bother with a mask, much less an experimental genetic vaccine that has unknown long-term side affects and would have been shelved for excessive deaths at any other point in history?
