Well, didn't their labor costs go up?

Yep, I order through the app but I don't think the cost is much different. I do it for the rewards. I get all kinds of free food from the app.

It’s what the market will bear. They’ll lower prices if people stop buying Big Macs.

I was at Roosters today for lunch. $4.99 for a quarter pound hamburger, $7.49 for a half pound. Lettuce, tomatoes, and onions included. Fries were separate. Around $4. Beer, no coke.

Much better than any fast food hamburgers.

It will only go higher as employees demand even higher wages, cost of product continues to increase, and constant required remodels by Franchisors continue.

nobody mentioned the 25 % tip which pushes the cost to 20 bucks.

Street truck food will be the survivor in the fast food race. No overhead, no taxes, no minimum wage. Only meat bread lettuce tomato cost and profit

Then don’t eat there.

Right?

We've become so 'effing soft as a nation we have people outraged because they feel entitled to eat at McDonald's for a certain price.

Don't eat there and there is no need to post on 'effing TicToc about it. No one "oppressed" you. You ought not be eating at nasty-arse McDonald's in the first place. Have some standards.

Doesn't taste good**. To taste well would imply that the burger is doing the tasting.

One has to be quite stupid to buy a 16$ Big Mac meal. Go somewhere else. It’s Micky D’s bro

A Subway foot long deal with chips and a drink runs about $13-14 plus the tip shaming.

Random thought- If Big Mac prices continue to rise, maybe (rather than just $100 bills) we'll begin to see rappers flash Big Macs in their videos.

Big Mac Meal is $9.09 + tax

If you buy the Big Mac $5.00 Drink $1.69 use the $1 Large Fry with any purchase deal. The total is 7.69 + tax

I went by to get a burger between meetings. They didn’t have coke because they had no water so no fountain drinks. They said it was 11.90. I asked how much it would be if they could give me the drink. 10.52.

So you’re going to charge me more to give me less? “Yes”

“No you’re not”. Drove off and went to the subway across the street.

Apparently McDonalds is having to bake employee stupidity into its pricing.
