The goal is to kill enough of the other side that they capitulate.

If you can killing 1 leader can be better than killing 100's or 1,000 foot soldiers. So if true this is an accomplishment.

As far as oil, opening the strait will bring down oil prices. If IRGC leadership is resisting opening the strait, then killing IRGC leadership is a step toward opening the strait and bringing down oil prices.

Do you think you'll find the top secret military plans here?

The number of populists who imagine that John Q. Public can correctly assess complex military strategies and also believe that the government owes them the publicizing of comprehensive reports on strategy and tactics is astounding to me.

People like that relate to these things like it is professional wrestling or a reality show, not real life.

And it seems like it's the majority of people these days.

MAGA - Doing what we’ve done all over again, just a different skin. Really wish you would stop and get to understand you’re winning.

The price of oil is driven by Speculation not supply. Point your finger at the greedy Traders and Economic Forecasts of Stock and Commodity Markets

Letting Iran build up missiles and drones to the point we can’t destroy their nukes when they get them sure as hell isn’t America first. Let’s wait till they get fifth gen jets and better missile defense from China. Hell, let’s wait till they nuke someone. Then everyone will ask why didn’t we do something?

Really wish these people would understand they’re winning. How can you be so cucked to believe you can’t sustain a little pain to get through a skirmish in Iran to defeat the deep state?

I'd like to know why gas is still $3.29 by my house when we don't buy oil from Iran.

Oh I know why... they (the gas stations) are buying gas right now for 6 months down the road and they think the world is going to end within those 6 months.

An international commodity with those from outside the US offering to buy it. Refineries purchase oil on contracted prices. The prices are usually indexed to widget trading prices which is not actually the oil itself but a set of specifications. Depending on assay (chemical analysis) oil can be cheaper or higher than those specs.

Refineries receive oil for about 20 days ahead of what will be used, not 6 months ahead.

If you live in the southern 2/3 of Florida it comes either by ship, ocean going barge or rail. Some of it comes from foreign refineries. The distributor puts in additives for whatever brand station it goes to, otherwise it's a grab bag as to who refined it

Other nations are running out of oil and natural gas. They are running out of plastics, fertilizers and all sorts of intermediate chemicals.

A client here in Louisiana with three plants is making bank. They were limping along for the last 3 years. Suddenly, they are the reliable supplier, not China, not other Asian nations, and not the MIddle East. European customers signed a longterm contract due RELIABILITY.

You are only thinking about your gasoline and not the big picture and global impact.

The only US plan was take out leadership and the people will take over.

The Israeli plan was convince the US to start war and enter into a quagmire that will destabilize Iran (just like Iraq, Syria and Libya).

The Israeli plan is working.

Exactly. If they can’t afford to sustain exceeding costs outside of gas, are they really MAGA to begin with? It’s like talking to a bunch of sheep.
