The only reason they're carving out the exception of "biology" here is because it's effected them DIRECTLY. I assure you,
I have a friend who is 100% all in all liberal all the time. Then, in 2020, her oldest daugther missed prom, final dance recitals, etc etc etc and then had to remote her Freshman year of college in the fall. THEN, in 2021, her next daughter had to do the same thing.

And you'd have thought the world had come to end on Facebook. She was none too pleased when I told her I had no time for that shite and that she only had herself to blame. I basically said what you said. You ONLY care now cause it hit your front door. You were all good when it was fricking small businessmen all over the nation.

There's no "right" to compete at an elite level. There's not even the vague expectation of a right. 95% of the public was BORN in such a way that they were never going to be elite athletes. File Trans right in there with "short", "slow", "unathletic", and on and on.

We need to stop allowing the tail to wag the dog. Quit catering to the minuscule, yet vocal percentage of the batshit insane all in the name of “being inclusive”. The juice just ain’t worth the squeeze because it never ends. Life is not supposed to be all-inclusive.

The NCAA last month updated its eligibility criteria for transgender athletes, which the athletic association said will now be determined by the national governing body of each sport.

The NCAA decision makers are cowards and should be ridiculed for punting on this issue. They are the governing body that is supposed to ensure fair competition for the student athletes. Instead of doing their jobs, they've pushed this off on other organizations. If they really wanted to do the right thing and uphold their mission, they would ban transgenders from competing in any collegiate sport.

I have no issue with this person living their life how they see fit. What my issue is that they are trying to say gender ID is the same as sex. Gender is psychological Sex is physical

20 bucks says they wouldn't be saying shite if it didn't affect them. It's sorta hard for me to give a shite. Suffer, have your sport ruined, and wait until more white liberals have their events ruined, speak up, and get this crap reversed.

You don't need an adjective in front of male or female. You are either a boy or girl so call that person what they are.

No such thing as "trans".

Is the lower testosterone going to reduce his wingspan, lung capacity, leg length, etc that he gained from being an actual man his entire life?

He doesn't even have lower testosterone. He hasn't been snipped or even done hormone therapy. I don't think he even had surgery to get tits based on the pictures. This guy just grew his hair out longer, said he identified as a woman, and now gets to compete as one. He just looks like a man wearing a woman's speedo. It's hilarious.

There has to be some potential Title IX issues in play here. I hope a class action lawsuit gets filed eventually.

Bingo!

You created and continue to create this monster. Now you get to live with it. Sorry that the reality of male athletes being biologically bigger and stronger interrupted your land of make believe. Now go have fun competing for 3rd place.

She sent the letter on the swimmer’s behalf because they had been told they “would be removed from the team” or “never get a job offer” if they spoke out against Thomas’ inclusion in women’s competition,

Seems to me that there would be a violation of Title IX or a whistleblower statute here. Threatening retaliation for attempting to enforce rights under state or federal law is usually frowned upon. Penn is private, so it is not a free speech issue.

I agree
When you start accepting delusion and allowing/forcing delusion on everyone, stupid consequences arise

Apparently “her” still has HIS frank & beans. Yeah, I’d say that’s a bit of an unfair advantage.

It would not matter if he had them removed. It would change nothing about his make up and abilities.

That's factual science
