They will lie and pretend to be moderate, and then, after the election…

OMB and whatever the exact opposite of what Trump is for. Doesn’t matter what it is, Dems will take the opposite…

Democrats benefit from corporate money. I’m not sure why they would advocate for donor reforms.

It’s going to be anti-corruption and affordability

Yeah... They did such a bang up job on both of those issues during the Biden Admin.

Also, who are their "moderate" and "move to the middle" potential presidential candidates for 2028, and what such positions can we expect them to take that might so distinguish themselves as such? One would think we would soon be seeing such contenders coming to the forefront.

All I'm seeing are people like Newsom, Kamala, and AOC.

Mitch Landrieu?

It’s going to come down to which side is more persuasive.

The GOP has to sell it also…

You won't get a clear, coherent answer.

All the liberal soys on here - not one will give you their platform and why they should win.

OMB Bad. That's it.

I think they list Shapiro as a “moderate” but I think that’s mostly because he’s a white male.

The Democrats argument is going to be the usual Trump is a dictator/nazi/fascist type stuff.
With the following thrown in: While people struggle with affordability Republicans take away health care subsidies, etc. and ask for $200 billion to fund foreign wars.
To the extent Democrats are effective with the latter argument is the extent to which Republicans have to either come up with a good answer or focus the "narrative" on how bat-shite insane Democrats are.

The buzzwords:

“Pay their fair share”
“The richest one percent”
“Ultra-MAGA”
“Wall Street”
“We are a country of immigrants”
“Gutted the Voting Rights Act”
“Black and Brown people”

Because the Citizen United case has nothing to do with donor reforms. McCain-Feingold was an end-run around free speech before an election. Democrats don't like people being able to voice an opinion they disagree with, especially close to an election - hence Democrats widespread call to overturn Citizens United.

Kill babies
Tax Everyone to death
DEI
Black districts
No Kangz
OMB
Defund the po po
Defund Ice
Let Everyone Back In

All winners.

They will scream about prices but offer nothing. The sad thing is that Biden was close to $4 gas with no war. So another Dem in the white house means the same energy policies that got us to $4 without war.

Well tariffs and the OBB pretty much act as increased taxes for many Americans.
In effect, maybe. MAYBE. But folks can alter spending habits to get around that. And people really, REALLY could use some more mature spending habits.

It’s the implication that’s the issue here.

Dems want to take more of our income. And they keep giving it to people that shouldn’t even be in our country. And it keeps getting stolen. Like a shite ton of it.

I reject your attempt to equate the 2.
