Since the Iranians are losing hugely economically, how will they stir the pot for revenue?

Yep, one only has to look at oil prices to know the Strait of Hormuz is definitely controlled by the US Navy. Meanwhile, Iran is going broke quickly and very easily. Certainly they will lash out soon with a few drones or missiles in an attempt to create uncertainty in the oil markets, right?
I have not ever seen a country lose so much so quickly yet continue to mouth off as if they have a leg to stand on. The world is laughing at Iran and Great Britain.

If SOH traffic goes back to pre war levels and they’re allowed to toll ships at the 5-7% rate that’s being talked about, that’s $100 billion per year going to Tehran.
Irans entire GDP (according to the IMF) is roughly $300 billion, for reference.

That's a big arse "IF" there. The SOH will never go back to oil shipping volume as it was pre-war. Countries are rerouting now so that shipping doesn't have to pass through that bottle neck, WRT oil.
Not saying that they can't still attack, but they'll be attacking into other countries, not in an international shipping lane.

I dont think so either but if it’s even half the traffic that’s still a huge chunk of change being given to Iran annually.

What are you talking about? Oil prices are still north of $80.
Remember what they were when the US "definitely didn't control the Strait"? Yeah, they were high 50's

They do tend to fluctuate. Obviously, the rules are changing and we can expect stability for a very long time in that market.

They are getting fronted by Russia and China along with N K on weapons. China is the one that doesn’t make sense though as they depend heavily upon that oil, although they have over a billion barrels of stockpiled

They are getting a lot financial/military help from China, Russia, and probably Pakistan.
