It has led to high gas prices for the time being, not because of any supply shortage, but because of the fear of future shortages. But I think there’s a possibility that the war in Iran could actually make gas prices cheaper long-term.

He could try to explain it to the country but the liberals will counter with their own spin and muddy it all up.
I suspect that the common voter is looking at the cost of gas and other items and isn’t so much interested in the economic minutia behind why prices are going up. They just blame the Trump. Same thing happens when a democrat is president

I don’t think he needs to do an address, but I think he could do more to show concern about the issue. The fact is, this is an issue that impacts every American. Not only are we paying more at the pump, but prices of other goods are going up (or will go up) due to the rising cost of fuel needed to transport those goods. He hasn’t really shown concern lately about how this is impacting the everyday American.
