Two things: 1) allegedly, that place has really good Chicken (I will never find out for obvious reasons) 2) that particular spot is historically very bloody. If I recall correctly, the owner of the daq shop was murdered along with his brother pretty recently there.

I just read through several national media articles about the shooting and none of them said the name of the restaurant. They instead said street names and used terms like a strip mall.

I understand that. Completely get it. I'm also sad that their apparent great business is in a shitty part of town. They obviously work hard and produce a great product. We need people like them.

Notice they call out the specific names of every other businesses (Cricket, etc), then say a “fried chicken restaurant”?
