No, they don't. You're talking about a fricking community that wouldn't give up names or cooperate with cops in any way following the gang shootout at that playground in the Upper 9th a couple years ago. About 200 people were there and saw the whole goddamn thing and yet no one wanted to help police put these savages behind bars. I think about 20 people got hurt and roughly half were kids and teens. When a community won't even cooperate to protect their own children... i don't even know what to say. I'm unaware of any organism on the planet will not violently defend its offspring or attempt everything to protect them. BUt apparently the "stop snitchin'" bullshite is all it takes in New orleans

Murderers show up and shoot indiscriminately into a crowd. Last time someone was named a witness to a shooting over there, he was executed. And you think they don't want to"snitch" because they simply don't want to help police?

You cant be this stupid...by keeping their mouth shut they absolutely are protecting their children (best they can). The police in NO are corrupt as frick and the name of whomever rolls will be on the street that same day.

OK...I'll 'play'. Let's compare your 'alarming rates of cops killing black men' vs. black on black murders being totally disregarded by those of their own race/culture. Care to tell us the 'statistics' of those black citizens killed either in the ACT of committing a crime,fleeing a crime scene,illegally carrying a weapon and last but not least...are known or proven to be convicted violent felons ?
