Good fricking god this is why so many innocent men convicted. Because juries are retarded.

A door that locks remotely for an executive is not even unusual. If you have accusations you can't use the fricking door as evidence that the accusations are likely true

That's like being accused of fricking someone with a baseball bat and then someone comes to your house and says well he does have a bat. And the dudes like no shite I have a bat I coach baseball

And some fricking tarde jury says well you know I can connect the dots

God damn if you're ever accused of a sexual crime I would highly recommend not having a jury trial because juries are fricking composed of people in clearly people are stupid

what if 20% of the top Executives have those buttons? 10%? Or maybe just all of the on-air personalities?

If that were true, then I agree its a nothingburger and the first line of debunking it. That information should come out almost immediately if true.

I can see it now. Some woman accuses my colonel of sexually assaulting her

Then someone else says will you know he can remotely lock his door! And they fricking use that as evidence that she's telling the truth

That's genius right there

You see that's the thing. I suspect the dude is guilty as frick. But that doesn't make trying to use this door thing as evidence is any less stupid

yes but I have already proven that this is very common feature. So what your CEO does isn't terribly relevant to that point

wanna bet the reason it came out was because of the pants dropping tendencies?

i'll put you on record as saying you think the fact he could lock his door remotely has nothing to do with the shitstorm about to hit.

You're just assuming it was, not me.

The fact someone can lock their door remotely is evidence that a person can lock their door remotely and nothing else

If the dude assaulted women he deserves whatever is coming to him

That doesn't make any and every last fricking idiot who thinks the door is proof of it less stupid

If you're going to sit there and tell me most people will think that I will tell you I've met people and people are fricking stupid

i think the problem is the story of the remote door lock came out prior to how he used it.

i'm guessing the other shoe will drop over and over and you'll just say 'meh, still doesn't mean anything'

A remote door doesn’t mean anything, but when you’re accused of the stuff he is it does

I don’t think owning kitchen knives is relevant but it may be if you’re charged with butchering your wife and her waiter.

Still I get what the OP is saying. It’s being mischaracterized as being unusual when it’s not.

Matt Lauer once gave a colleague a sex toy as a present. It included an explicit note about how he wanted to use it on her, which left her mortified. On another day, he summoned a different female employee to his office, and then dropped his pants, showing her his penis

Pretty sure he needed a locked door for this.

...and as cucked and metro-sexual as Lauer was, a magnifying glass probably would have been called for as well!

No, it's how you use it.

If he's using it to lock chicks in then whip out his little pecker, it's much different.

uh, lets see Shorty thinks the door lock isn't a thing because lots of execs have them. Yet we're in the midst of multitudes of executives getting canned because they felt free to harass

Methinks a lot of these door lock thingys are about to be removed from the workplace
