If she’s so pro-abortion, why is she giddy and gleaming to meet the Pope?
Posted on 8/2/26 at 5:35 pm to lake chuck fan
She’s always been fricking nasty

Patty Smyth better than Patti Smith

Pope Leo is the first pope to actively try to reunite us with our Greek right brothers. This is necessary is the West can fight off the scourge of Islam
We failed to do this and Constantinople fell

The problem is this pope does not enter these meetings with the appearance of rigid adherence to the teachings of Christ and biblical doctrine. In fact, I seriously doubt whether he truly believes in the divinity of Christ at all. He looks to be a secular humanist globalist.
You are not only able to read the mind of the Pope, but, you are thoroughly familiar with Theology to the point where you are able to Judge and Condemn people to Hell.
Very impressive!

Do you know what they discussed?
Did Jesus make you judge over Patti Smith? Are you a sinner? Or do you sin no more. I bet I could guess.
Cast your stone.
You are on here espousing what Jesus did yet you seem to have kind of missed the whole point.

First, I really am skeptical of this pope. But second, aren’t we acting the same as the masses when Jesus dined with tax collectors and prostitutes?
ETA: I know Jesus went on to share and convert the sinners. Which we don’t see this pope doing. Hence my skepticism. I just feel conflicted passing judgement from the bleachers

Leo has been disappointing to say the least....the whole Catholic religion needs revamping!

This is actually true if she doesn’t accept him as her Lord and Savior.
Ironically she has a more reformed position on the atonement than 99% of evangelicals.

Well, how do you convert the hearts of people if you aren’t willing to meet with them? The article does not say anything about what was actually discussed, so we cannot judge what happened.
The pope is a radical leftist idiot. He is not trying to convert anyone to Christ. He is pushing his stupid leftist agenda.

Jesus certainly met with sinners often.
Jesus did not meet with sinner over a "shared mission." Jesus told them to go and sin no more. This pope is an anti-Jesus.

I passed ZERO judgment on anything; however, based upon the little that was shared about their meeting it doesn't sound like the Pope shared the Truth with her.
What "common ground" can the Pope find with someone who espouses activities that the Church deems to be sinful? Unless she comes out with a statement that he tried but she's going to live her truth, then it's a fair guess that he did no such thing. I would think a meeting with the Pope would have a profound effect on a person.
Yes, I am a sinner as we all are, but that doesn't mean we are to turn a blind eye to sinful behavior. All of these woke churches are wasting their time preaching a false gospel. If your church says you are welcome and you can stay just the way you are, then that IS NOT a Christian church. Jesus calls us to deny ourselves and follow Him.

So, you think the Pope told her that abortion of the unborn babies is OK and Godly?
Do you really believe that?

So, you think that the Pope is Anti-Christ?

Protestants seem to believe that if you aren't actively reminding someone that they're a sinner at all times, you're endorsing it.

Even if the Pope had slapped her face, they would bash the Pope for not punching her face.

Patti’s Smith is indeed pretty rad( in the best sense of the word…

I said this pope...I was careful not to get into that trope.

Care to discuss the context of the verse you're trying to quote. It's not a get out of jail free card. Of course we are to remind people of their need for Christ...Great Commission and all.
