‘Shared Mission’: Pope Leo XIV Meets with Radical Pro-Abortion Rocker Patti Smith

Smith has been a vocal supporter of abortion, something that the Vatican did not seem bothered by in their celebration of her private audience with Leo.

Well, how do you convert the hearts of people if you aren’t willing to meet with them? The article does not say anything about what was actually discussed, so we cannot judge what happened. Jesus certainly met with sinners often.

Correct. Jesus met with worse that Patti Smith regularly.
It's crazy how people criticize the Pope for promoting peace and living the Gospel.
People do realize he's the head of the Catholic Church right?
There isn't a soul on earth that Jesus wouldn't meet with if someone wished to meet Him.

The problem is this pope does not enter these meetings with the appearance of rigid adherence to the teachings of Christ and biblical doctrine. In fact, I seriously doubt whether he truly believes in the divinity of Christ at all. He looks to be a secular humanist globalist.

The official Catholic Church is evil - this does not extend to all, or maybe even most, practicing Catholics, but the official church is disgusting

Good point. But based on this popes past actions, I'd be hesitant to compare him with Jesus. IMHO
