Got a link or some context? The Senate acts as a jury in any trial. The President who is on trial can call witnesses in his defense. Why would there be a vote on who gets called? Why isn't that up to the defense?

I agree with the poster early in the thread who said they should hold their fire on Biden. He's gonna get his in the end. Let the Democrats continue to act like he's a viable candidate for Trump. Trump will destroy him in a general election race.

Don't care about Hunter Biden....he's just an unwitting dupe who was probably splitting some of the monthly salary with Pops.
Now.....Eric Ciaramella on the other hand would be interesting. However, if Trump is smart let Cocaine Mitch handle this without White House pressure. Using the Federal Rules of Evidence would shut this shite show down. Trump being obsessed at payback on the Russia bulls hit is how he stepped on his dick on this Ukraine thing......a quick trial would keep Hill Dawgs from getting in and it keeps Biden worried that this point will continue to come up while handles Squaw and Bernie and Booth grab who will no doubt use the Burisma thing in the primary

He’s charged with abuse of power. Who did that pertain too? A defense is to show abuse by Biden ordering Ukraine to fire a Prosecutor is a defense. If there was an abuse by Biden, or perception of an abuse, then Trumps request is perfect
