ENTIRE SYSTEM IS CORRUPT - PERIOD. And it has been our entire lives. Daddy Bush was in charge when his CIA Mafia killed JFK on behalf of LBJ and the Bankers.
If the People really knew what was going on, some of the so called "Patriots" might actually try to do something about it.

I don’t fully understand it either.

Graham is a dirty swamp rat just like the rest of them and he doesn't want to cast too many stones and have them boomerang back to him.

Remember Graham used to live with his head up McCain's arse

His remark regarding the votes is confusing.

He doesn't need the votes of the judiciary committee members before issuing a subpoena. And if he's referring to the impeachment trial then it's going to be Trump's lawyers calling the witnesses and not members of the senate.

At least I think that's how it plays out. I've never seen a senate trial so I could be wrong.

The senate only gets to vote on the procedural rules to be followed. I am not sure they get to determine the amount of/or/ actual witnesses that can be put forth by the defense.

Of course, this recent statement gives pause for concern why Trump would want to make this a very painful process:

quote:

Rep. Al Green, a Texas Democrat who earlier had introduced articles of impeachment against the president three times, felt similarly, telling The Washington Times he conveyed as much to his colleagues in a recent memo.

However, he wouldn’t say whether he planned to try to introduce additional articles before the House votes.

“We can wait to see if the Senate will convict and remove. But if they don’t, then there’s still work to be done,” he said.

If this is a quick process, the house might just go again on some new charges.
