That's essentially what's happening. The prosecution is saying a bunch of shite but can't present any evidence. This thing might not make it to July at this rate.

There's no reason to add a cover page that says "classified" (or whatever else) for a photo that will be reviewed by people who can view classified materials.
Agreed. But more importantly, it also enabled them to start PR against Trump so they could poison the jury pool, the general public and the media (not hard to do).

That could be accomplished by blurring the image or blacking it out. Both of those techniques are more common and less intrusive than manipulating the crime scene. The whole purpose of the cover sheets was to influence the press and jury by making the images appear worse than they were. It is clearly falsified evidence meant to harm the defendant.

It depends on chain of evidence of the particular documents that are alleged to be classified . The fact that those pictures exist can be problematic if they are going to be used as actual evidence. If not then it really does not matter. Each alleged document submitted has to have an unbroken chain from the time it was found in the box all the way up to the time it was logged as official.
Ideally in this case it would have been better for Trump's lawyers to have been present in an observer
capacity....but the bigger deal in this case has nothing to do with actual documents in possession.
