Leftists have somehow always believed criminals care about signs.

Is that 950 per individual theft or day?

To my understanding, it's per individual theft.

Are the values pertaining to the goods stolen adjusted annually to reflect the true value of the currency?

If these are real, I'm sure those stores asked for them since they really don't have much in their stores singley worth that much. Pretty much a an attempt at reminding the ransacking theives of that and to move along to cheaper stores.

I suppose the plan is, given rising inflation and California taxes it won’t be long before $950 pretty much covers petty theft.

Is the $950 based on the store's listed prices for the stolen items? If so, what would keep the store from overpricing everything, then offering drastic price reductions with coupons at the register? The inflated list prices could be used to quickly meet the $950 theft limit.

Quic search online, a round trip flight to San Fran is $240. So I could theoretically pay $240 and just steal (can it even considered theft if it's legally allowed?) $950 worth of clothes, groceries whatever and just come back home.

I halfway hope enough people around the country come to this conclusion and rob that city blind.
