What IS happening...
Trump made very distasteful comments about Reiner, and as a defense, it is pointed out that Reiner also made distasteful comments about others and how wrong that was, but since he did it, it's okay that Trump does it, even though it wasn't okay that Reiner did it.
In other words, be the better man, for once, Trump. I know, for him, that's nigh impossible... but we can wish, right?

That actually isn’t my point at all. Rob Reiner was an overtly political person. TDS and liberal hysteria defined his life. A true epitaph for a dead man should be grounded in reality.
