What is so astounding is that in the past people were against developing biological weapons that could kill millions or everyone. And today they changed the name from biological weapon to gain of function research and some people actually think there is a logical reason to create a deadly disease in order to be safe.
It as stupid as saying we are going to create the man-bear-pig so that we can learn how to be safe from the man-bear-pig.

Well, we might (we won't), but they won't. The Military applications for this are just too powerful to ignore. Terrorist factions or Ideological/Religious competitors will pay for such power.

I certainly don’t pretend to know for sure, but based on what little I have read about RFK, Jr.’s comments, quotes, and arguments, it seems some of what he says / proclaims about viruses and vaccines goes against what is generally accepted by the scientific community.
That doesn’t mean I automatically throw out / ignore his arguments. I am almost always open to listening to arguments.
