I try to imagine, in a world where lobbying didn’t already exists, trying to convince people we need to allow this new method of influencing our politicians called “lobbying”.

What would they say to you?

“Gee that sounds exactly like bribery, which is a pretty serious felony”

It's not new. It's an inevitable result of concentrated power resting in the hands of the few. No lobbyist has ever tried to bribe you, have they? No, because you don't have power over them.

If they arent then why do they keep voting to protect the marxist democrats you mention and block attempts to limit their agenda?

They're just sleeper globalists operating in red districts. Its that simple.

Most moderate Republicans in swing districts will mostly act like Democrats. There is still some advantage to having the Republicans in majority for caucusing and preventing the daily impeachments and so forth.

But it silly to expect these moderate Rs to do anything conservative.

The only focus right now is deportations and immigration. Once we can fix this, we may have a sliver of a chance to get better representation. But until that changes we are going to have to deal with these slippery fricks.

Yup. Reduce power of government and you eliminate need for lobbying

Have you spent the time around normie type people who live in these districts?

Everyone bitches about the politicians. It’s people by and large who are milquetoast weenies. Thats why clowns like Bacon get elected. Normies love the idea of someone who can “reach across the aisle”. Of course it’s always one way that the so called “moderates” reach. It’s Reps capitulating to Dems, even when Reps have power. It’s never the other way.

I agree with you but the republicans are traitors for money the democrats are traitors for power. That’s a big difference.
They want to rule our lives. Democrats want to control our lives

And this is why speaker Peabody will just hand the gavel to Hakeem with Mamdani and AOC as president and VP.

They will Nixon impeach and temove Trump and put 13 idiots on the Supreme Court.

The dems will jail all MAGA AND their marxist narco radical Muslim terrorism will plant their flags with the CCP.

The Dems are infighting as well. It's between the 'Corporate Dems' and the 'Justice Dems.' The JDs are the hard core communists who want to win their primaries. This mornings fundraiser was ripping Colorado incumbent Dianna DeGette. They want her gone because she voted for some bills Trump liked in the last 2 years. Here is how the Justice Dems describe it:

quote:

Here’s what her vote does:

More of your taxpayer money for Trump’s war-mongering agenda
Cuts to critical IRS enforcement so billionaires can dodge taxes
Doubles down on militarism overseas
Turns a blind eye to ICE terrorizing communities
Sends billions more in funding to Israel
Restricts life-saving aid to Palestine

The vast majority of “republicans” are shifty, dishonest, money-grubbing worms…. I fricking hate them.

At least the democrats are honest.

We need more political parties.

Our side needs to remain calm and address the underlying reasons for this happening. It's probably because, as some others have already said, because we need to fill Congress with more Conservatives.

The GOP Conservative margin in Congress is quite thin - probably too thin to allow decisive reform to occur.

We've got more work to do - and always keep in mind - we are not guaranteed victory. American Socialism will be difficult to defeat.

We could, in the long run, lose this fight. In the meantime, let's stay calm and do the work necessary to Keep the Faith.

Yep, good rational analysis

Our side is filled with chicken littles. We have razor thin margin, simply put, don’t expect much.

To do anything, we would need sustained majority with that majority growing.

We have to fill the ranks in the judiciary and various NGOs and beurocracies and state legislatures. We need to replace RINOs with conservatives in those districts, one by one.

This was never going to change over night it. We need autist level operators like DeSantis who know how to pull the levers and game the system to our benefit. The Trump camp simply doesn’t get how to leverage and manipulate the system correctly.

But if we lose the majority, it will just set us back that much further.

Tim Burchett and Anna Paulina Luna are the most honest and transparent politicians in over a generation. Everyone should be following them on socials. I despise Instagram but I won't delete it just because I love seeing Burchett's daily video updates. The man is a true patriot and I want to see him as President one day.
