He is calling the shots but the pressure is on and I'm very sure the voices around Trump are 99% for war and 1% against.

We were promised no wars. Now he's letting Netanyahu drag us into a massive one.

Is he, though?
Would you call the operation in Venezuela a war?

Tucker made him relevant this past week. Made the Gulf States called the White House because of Huckabee's comments in that interview.

If we don't do it then Iran will get their nuke. And then they will become half as responsible with them as North Korea.

I don't think it's necessary or urgent to attack Iran.
Unless you know what he knows, you can't really say that. Trump has proven he's no war hawk.
I don't see any urgency in his actions. If he was being urgent, he would have went in half cocked when the people started rioting.
Iran doesn't just see Israel as an enemy to eradicate, they see any non-Muslim nation the same way. They have been a global threat since Jimmy Carter

We've been threatened with this excuse for the last 30 years at least as a reason to start ME wars.
Let's game this out.
What if Iran gets a nuke? The consequence of them getting a nuke and using it on a foreign nation would create a response so extreme and severe Iran would be uninhabitable for at least a generation. I'd feel bad for the countries southeast of Iran due to the nuclear fallout but that's the consequences of using a nuke.
But if they use a nuke, all the current adversaries get what they want. No Iran.

Trump likes to blow shite up on weekends.
Iran Nuclear Facility was bombed on a Sunday.
Maduro was taken on a Saturday.

We snatched the leader of a weak country. Fortunately it went down the way that it did and we didn't lose anyone. I don't think the same will be the case with Iran.

I don’t want war at all.
At the same time, I’m wise enough to know that Iran can not have nuclear weapons and this is something both parties have agreed on for forever. I also know Iran is dead set on getting those weapons and they have Russia in their back pocket a bit, which opens a whole new can of worms down the line. If we allow Iran to keep doing what they’re doing and we want to make Putin take us seriously, we have to set an example.
If Iran actually is really close to getting nuclear power status, it’s up to America to step in and stop that from happening.
I don’t want war, but sometimes war is the only remaining option, unless your last name is Obama and you’d rather pay them to temporarily halt their nuclear production only for it to resume in private.

So what is our goal with Iran? Snatch? Assassinate? Halt nuclear production?
What goal do we have that we can’t achieve with a week(or a night or two) of airstrikes?

The Iran issue hinges on where you land on one question. One question that has been debated in diplomatic circles for 50 years.
Are the people that run Iran rational actors?
I think the evidence is very strong that they are. Meaning they behave rationally and their decisions are made in a traditional cost/benefit model.
They see a nuclear weapon as security. If you have them, you have a substantial level of security. Saddam, gone. Gaddafi, gone. Assad, gone. Yet Kim Jong Un perseveres. You can go on and on.
The Iran hawks tell you if Iran gets a bomb they will immediately use to destroy Israel. They point to rhetoric from inside Iran. But it's just rhetoric mostly for internal consumption.
The Iranians are rational. They understand what use of a nuclear weapon would mean for their government. They care about power like all politicians and religious leaders.
We don't want them having a nuclear weapon but if they get one, the world will go on.
It's not worth American lives. We can manage it and so can Israel.
If Israel and Saudi Arabia have a problem with Iran let them take care of it.
Just as an aside, for all the talk about Israel pushing America to war with Iran it's just as much Saudi Arabia if not more. Greaseball Muslim shite.

If Israel is telling the White House reported that they are going to nuke Tehran if we don’t do something. I think it’s in the world’s best interest that we do something. There won’t be a world if they nuke Tehran.
