I have some hope, considering some of the Governor races are close or have Republicans in the lead in some surprising states. Local elections are just as important, if not more so. School boards, sheriffs, state attorney generals are very very important.

The meltdown would not only be nuclear from the left ,but also the GOPe. If this happens there is no doubt now that Trump owns the party. They are petrified of this.

Trump owns the party right now and that isn't a debate.

But I wouldn't put it past Turtle to throw the game at the last second.

If this happens LGB will try to resign but the Dems will try to make him stay and own the stink.

They will be looking for a rebranding/fresh start. Biden is a proven loser and a bad horse to ride into 2024.

What is that lean R district house race in north central Colorado? Seems improbable.

Add a couple of more to the GOP side then shut this thing down immediately.
Impeach Biden and his entire cabinet then defund every alphabet agency.
Unfortunately, that would take a GOP team with GONADS.

Arkansas. Motorcycle chase. Nitwit finally ditched the bike and ran. Apparently had a canister of gas in his backpack. Cop tased him, and he lit up. Cops grabbed a fire extinguisher and put him out. Injuries were less than you'd expect. The TASER prongs may have punctured the can. Burns were mostly superficial. He is expected to make a full recovery.

I’ll believe it when I see it. The dems will be employing even more frickery than in 2020. We live in a banana republic and have since Comey just let Hillary skate.

In terms of the senate, if this happens the Senate will remain in GOP hands probably for the next 18 years. This is the election cycle where the fewest number of Dems and the most number of Reps are up for election/reelection. The numbers totally favor the Dems this cycle and if they lose ground when the Dems have favorable numbers that is devastating to the Dems.

They always try to slide over to reality right before an election.

2024 could be a total bloodbath for the Dems in the Senate. Incumbent Senate Democrats will be up for election in AZ, MT, NV, WI, MI, OH, PA, WV, and VA. All of those could be vulnerable--with MT, OH, and WV being near automatic pickups.

Meanwhile, the GOP will be defending UT, WY, NE (both seats), ND, MO, IN, TN, TX, MS, and FL---all safe seats.
