Lyndon Baines Johnson
bad man
awful president
-2, yes negative 2.....
Many of our country's ills today are direct result of his years on PA avenue.
Worst American leader in modern times until the current one.

I wasn't keeping up with politics when I was born, but the first President I kept up with in real time was Ike.
I'd put him at 8/10.
He was an avid golfer which led my dad to taking up golf at age 50 at the advise of his doctor. That led to me learning to play golf.
Ike also built the interstate highway system. He was the last non politician to be President prior to Trump.
He explained the Military Industrial Complex. That topic has certainly gained some resurgence.

Carter.
Best president of my lifetime.
I understand the bar is incredibly low, but he was the best of my life.
Looking back, Harding and Coolidge were really awesome. And what’s funny they are hated by academia and usually ranked at the bottom.
National debt actually decreased 7% and 17% under those two. Only two since 1920 to be able to claim a reduction.

Nixon. Probably a pretty good president. Excellent with China. Bad. Watergate and paranoia

I like Ike.
He warned us of the military industrial complex. We didn’t listen.

Ike was president when I was born.
He was also an enthisatic bridge player. He used to submit sample bridge hands to the NYT.
He also sent federal troops to Little Rock to enforce the school desregation order.

I was born in '72, so Nixon.
I remember hearing the word "Watergate", and thinking that some river flooded the where the President lived.

Jimmy Carter - widely considered one of the worst Presidents of all time.
Well at least he does not have to worry about being the worst , because that title def goes to the person currently occupying the White House now . Ole mush brains himself .

Harry Truman: He wasn't very good at dealing with end of WWII. He let Stalin's minions take the North of Korea and then kept the South militarily weak leading to the Korean War.
