I read a book by a WAPO reporter ( Richmond?) who did just that- he moved back to the “motherland “ and was brutally mugged by reality. The absurdity of a black American thinking they understand anything about life in African amuses me.

Blacks in Africa hate American blacks and think they are lazy and useless.

There's been some serious brainwashing to convince entire swaths of people that Africa is some peaceful, noble, KumByYah motherland.

There have been plenty of American blacks that have moved to Africa to escape "racism" only to say "frick this place" and be back within a year.

I would bet most of them were women. African men don’t tolerate women who aren’t deferential. African women know this.

Sadly, there are black American women who move to Africa and get beaten by their African SOs. It’s a different world over there.

Wouldn’t work, some if not most couldn’t handle it. The whining wouldn’t work there.

Why do you want to limit where people can live? Anyone who wants to live in Africa is welcome to legally immigrate there.

When I see something like this, I can't help but think about something that Muhammad Ali once said. They sent Ali to Africa to train for his upcoming fight against George Foreman which was being held in Africa (Zaire?).

Anyway, they asked Ali how he felt about being in his "homeland." Ali's reply was, Thank God my Great, Great, Great Grandaddy got on that boat!"
