Reagan pushed through tax cuts when the democrats had a 50+ seat majority in the House. Reagan never ran to the left of his Primary opponents. And there are many more reasons.
To put trump ahead of him is incredibly dumb or ignorant or both.

I’d be very tempted to put Clinton’s Presidency over Trump’s if Bill hadn’t used his Presidency to start up his wife’s political career, and the fact that the good things were from Newt’s Congress. But Bill gets some points for being smart enough to go along with them.
