Concur. Also, let's just say that it is a massive issue and it is real, ok, fine. Now America is doing everything they can to combat it.

Is China? Is Brazil? Is the whole continent of Africa? Why should we put limits and restrictions on ourselves when it only will benefit (mainly) China?

The climate change hoax ranks right up there with unicorns, mermaids, the magic bullet theory and the 81 million votes scam. FJB and all the rest of you leftist criminal shitheads.

It’s not a crisis.
Not even a little bit.

Climate change is most definitely real.

Man made climate change or the thought that man can change the climate is a pure hoax.

It is nothing more than a power grab.

When someone warns about climate change as they board their personal jets, or land by helicopter at their mansion located right next to the "rising seas", then you know it's all bullshite.

Ther is no serious doubt that carbon emissions can have some effect on climate.

The question is to what degree and whether any of the proposed solutions are worhwhile.

We know the answer to this question:

quote:

Climate scientists have determined, and both sides agree, that the warming effect of each molecule of CO2 decreases significantly (logarithmically) as its concentration increases. This is one reason why there was no runaway greenhouse warming when the concentration of CO2 was approaching 20 times that of today. This inconvenient fact, important though it is, is kept very well hidden and is rarely mentioned, for it undermines the theory of future catastrophic climate change. Diminishing returns apply.

Yeah, I think it is changing, but not because of anything we are doing. Also, I am not willing to go back to 1800s standards of living in the event that it is causing it.

Global Warming exists as a natural phenomon and we have been on a warmimg trend since the end of the little iceage in the mid 19th century.

AGW is a Religon to the left and has no basis in science as all the science they attempt to use has to be manipulated to fit their belief system and narritive.

I believe climate does indeed change. I also believe humans have very little to do with it. There have been periods of time, when there were no humans on earth, that there was zero ice anywhere.

There have also been times where the polar ice extended south to New York.

I 100% believe humans are horrible polluters. Especially those in third world shitholes like China, India and Africa. They treat rivers as garbage dumps. Pollution and litter are the areas we should be focused on. Not carbon footprints.

The degree? Minuscule

The solutions? Masked & self serving manipulation that will be catastrophic

Climate has always changed.

MMCC on the other hand is way overblown and not fully understood.

It's complete BS, it's a two part equation.

Part 1. A money making scheme for several "elites".

Part 2. Most importantly, it's Another tool at the Govt's disposal to impose more rules/regulations on people/business.

CO2 = 0.045% = plant nutrient
CH4 = 0.00008% = ocean farts (and (minuscule cow)

I believe climate changes but I don’t believe that we are responsible for its change either way

Been recycling since the 70’s
Machinery efficiency is improved past 30 years
Water quality is improved

Still they blame humans

Bull crap

It's pretty damned hot and dry here in East Texas. The Sahara was not always the Sahara. Yeah, the climate changes.

Science does make predictions. I form a hypothesis based on data, I test it and record the results. I should then be able to make predictions. If my predictions are incorrect, then I need to re-evaluate the hypothesis. They’re predictions are wrong, but there are sticking with the hypothesis, which means they’re practicing junk science. I learned this in 7th grade. These “world renown climatologists” are just liberal activists with a fancy title. It’s so laughable.

Everything about the earth has changed, from the continental structures, to coastlines, to sea level, to temperature, to rainfall patterns, etc.

The "climate" that they speak of is the exact snapshot in time where we currently are. They just want to lock in the current status quo forever, which is impossible and ridiculous to even consider.

We chose to build cities on the coast, when that particular coastline has been changing for millions of years.

In addition to the above it gives them talking points about climate change so they don't have to deal with real issues. This is especially true in the runup to elections.

If all they debate is climate bullshite then they don't have to talk about running up debt and other pressing issues.
