I am trying to pull a transcript but am not savvy enough to figure it out just yet... but he did say that we are not at war with a theocracy, when, in fact, we are... I mean, the definition of "war" is in question, but Iran is most certainly a theocracy and we are quite certainly in conflict with Iran, and by definition, it's theocracy.

He sucks in the gullible by saying outlandish sounding things with a kernel of truth to get clicks then has holier than thou try hards explain he didn’t really say what it sounded like he said so he’ll get more clicks by people verifying.

This isn’t really relevant in the context of the tweet. He made no mention of the specifics of Shia vs Sunni or the extent in which each variation dictates governmental policy in their respective majority nations.

Are we talking the tweet wherein he specifically called out Iran? If so, then it's obviously a Shia Theocracy dig at the only Shia Theocracy Government on planet Earth.
The tweet, if that's the one, isn't my favorite by any means. It doesn't overly bother me either.

I think you're reading into these things... Do you not think that Iran is a problem for us (and others) as well as Israel?
I am not enamored with Israel, we simply have the same thorn in our side (as do others in the region) that is Iran and are working together to solve it. After that, Israel can frick off for all I care.

In context he was commenting on the bridges and power plant tweet on Easter morning and had several beefs with it.
-F bomb on Easter morning.
-Civilian casualties resulting from destruction of bridges and power infrastructure unrelated to military targets and unlikely to accomplish the mission of opening Hormuz, maybe even likely to harden Iranian resistance.
-using “Praise be to Allah” as an unnecessary provocation unsuitable on Easter morning.
That is my take on the gist of his comments.
All in all, Carlson found the whole tweet offensive, inappropriate, and disrespectful delivered on Christianity’s holiest day.

The guy who says we are in a spiritual battle of good vs evil and claimed to be attacked by demons is now telling us not to mock false religions and demonic cultures.
The muslims raped their own women who spoke against the government to deny them access to Heaven. Why should I be respectful to that religion as a Christian, an American, or a man?
