So who decides what religion should be promoted in state/federally funded locations like schools?

What if the Muslim boys want to be on the football team. Games can get pretty dirty without artificial turf. Will all games require extra time outs so the players can wash their feet?

No shite. But when you allow one, you must allow all. Because the Muslims have freedom of religion too. A government agency cannot pick and choose which religions it will allow in a school. Just like it cannot pick and choose which races it will allow to enroll in school.

Many things in our country that are part of federal, state or local gubments say In God We Trust. Not aware of any that say In Allah/Satan We Trust.

As much as I want children to know the Ten Commandments, it is a law that allows all other religions to equal footings in schools. This is not a good thing.

We’ve come a long way since my town’s local public schools began serving fish on Fridays to accommodate the Catholic kids. What is it with Minnesota?

Over the years, I’ve covered countless stories of Christian teenagers and teachers who have been punished for promoting their faith in Christ inside classrooms.

The country is rife with countless examples of Christians either being denied their right to practice their faith through witnessing, sharing, praying, or wearing something that they claim is an infringement of the wall of separation, but as we can clearly see that does not apply to Islam.

Why? Because the same people who oppose Christianity are the very same who are politically in bed with Islam.

You can say the exact same for the European left. It’s blatantly obvious.

I support foot washing stations.

But I think they would serve a greater public good at grocery stores, restaurants, and Walmart.

Keep religion out of all government. If you open it to one, you open it to all. We have a constitution that grants freedom of religion.
We need change the Constitution, then.

My belief is that all nations should promote the one true religion (Christianity) and suppress the public promotion of all other religions while tolerating private beliefs and worship (not forcing conversion by the sword of the state).

I don’t think the true religion should be rejected because of “fair play”. We don’t have fair play today, anyway, as while the promotion of Christian-specific beliefs and practices is sporadic at best, secular humanism is pushed as the right way forward for our secular nation, and secular worldviews and solutions often times are contrary to Christianity. That ideology can compete against religion with it being subject to the constraints of religion by the modern interpretations of the Constitution .

And left wingers now support prayer in school.

Odd thing isn't it?
